Sweetgrass Creative Designs

Hello! I'm Anne Wiens- by day a mild-mannered announcer and program director for radio stations KSEN and KZIN-fm in Shelby, Montana. It's a small town almost literally "a hundred miles from anywhere"- Great Falls to the South, Havre to the east, Glacier National Park to the west, and only 35 miles from Canada.  Though my roots here have grown deep, I'm a California transplant who grew up in the beautiful redwood forest town of Boulder Creek.

My mother, grandmothers and great-grandmother were all accomplished needlewomen, and between them, made sure my two sisters and I learned how to sew, knit, crochet, embroider, etc.  Beth loves to crochet, and Lori admits to cross-stitching now and again, but quilting became my passion.
