Most workshops work best as a day-long (6-7 hour) format. When possible, I have students do some preliminary cutting at home so we can spend class time in construction. Cost: $200 (USD) per day for up to 10 students plus $20 for each additional student. Sponsor pays travel and lodging. Per-student materials fees may apply, and are included in the workshop description. I can supply any books or tools needed (at retail price) if your local quilt shop does not stock them.
Any of my published patterns (see pattern page) are available as classes. I will provide patterns and any necessary tools at regular retail price if your local quilt shop doesn't stock them.
MONTANA STAR
A one-block wallhanging. The printed pattern includes templates, but I teach it using the TriRecs rotary cutting rulers. Students should complete the top in class. Pattern includes bed-size quilts. ($10 materials fee per student)
WILD GOOSE CHASE
A few fat quarters, a couple of yards of fabric, and soon you have a gaggle of geese going every which-way in this colorful scrappy quilt, made with the Marti Michell, flying geese rulers. Bed-size pattern. ($5 materials fee per student)
PRAIRIE NIGHTS

I use this wallhanging/quilt pattern to teach the Quilt-in-a-Day Flying Geese ruler. ($3 materials fee per student)
NORTHWIND
Two triangles equals eight blocks and endless possibilities in this scrappy quilt designed by Sharyn Craig. Not available in a national venue. ($10 materials fee per student inc. template set)

The Thrifty Quilter
My first book teaches my simple system for managing the mountains of scraps quilters accumulate. Precut three simple shapes and use them to make dozens of quilt blocks with hundreds of design possibilities. In class, we discuss the system, and make a sampler quilt. The sampler layout used for this class is not included in the book.

3-D Blocks
Use the 60degree Clear View triangle ruler to make a contemporary 3-D Blocks wallhanging. It's much easier than it look. Most students finish their top in class! $5 materials fee per student.
My Round Tuitt!
Another project made with the 60degree Clear View triangle ruler. This 20" table mat teaches you to cut the shapes needed to make the quilts in the book Not Your Grandmother's Log Cabin. $5 materials fee per student.

Hunter Star
Make a 3 or 4-block tablerunner or a 4-block wallhanging with the Rapid Fir Hunter's Star Petite Star ruler. Every student must have a ruler.
